1.a)simplify x(x+1)^2 - 2(x^2+1/x+4/(x^3))
答:x^3+x--(2/x)+8/(x^2)

b)hence factorize the expression in (a)
答:(x-(2/x))((x^2)+3+(4/(x^2)))

2.9^x=√3,x=?
答:1/4

3.if log x:log y=m:n,then x=?
答:y^(m/n)

4.in factorizing the expression we find that

(a^2-ab+b^2)is a factor.為什麼?

1.x(x+1)^2 - 2(x^2+1/x+4/(x^3)) = x (x^2+2x+1)-2x^2+2/x+8/(x^3)
= x^3+2x^2+x - 2x^2+2/x+8/(x^3) = x^3 + x + 2/x + 8/(x^3)

2 9^x=√3 , 3^(2x)=3^(1/2) , 2x=1/2 , x = 1/4

3. log x:log y=m:n, log x = log y x m/n, x=y^(m/n)

4. (a-b)^2 = a^2-2ba+b^2
(a+b)^2= a^2+2ba+b^2
(a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2
