An object with mass would need an infinite amount of energy to travel at the speed of light - therefore this could not happen.

If an apple dropped from a tree at the speed of light, I'd hope Isaac Newton was'nt under it.
Lol.

Because of the blue shift, the apple would look the color of a blueberry.

Therefore, you'd get blueberry jam, not applesauce. :D

When it hit the ground there would be an enormous explosion.

as per einstein's mass energy equivalence i.e.
e=mc^2
where
m:mass of body
c:velocity of light

mass of apple will completely convert to energy and it will get lost!!!!!!!!!!

light travels 186,00 miles per second, so you'd never see it. Just the applesauce on the ground.......

ya wouldnt see it happen.
there would be random apples everywhere.
people will say its a sign of the apocalypse.

it would leave a hole lol. but whatever causing this apple to travel so fast could also cause it do do many unpredictable things.

I would guess that apple get obliterated by the ground

an apple being an entity bearing some mass cannot travel with the speed of light. ur ques is surely hypothetical. the energy required to produce such a velocity of apple { m X c^2} is not possible and the kinetic mass will become infinite. as per the eqn m=mo/(1-v^2c^-2)^1/2
