A mouse at point A runs due east along one side of the rectangle.At the same time ,a cat at point A runs due south along another side of the rectangle .Finally ,they meet at point C , where BC =60 cm.Given that the speed of the mouse is 14 over 11 times of that of the cat, find the perimeter of the rectangle in metre .(要自己畫圖)

Let the perimeter of the rectangle be x:x/2 + 60 = (x/2 - 60) / 11/14
(x/2 + 60) * 11/14 = x/2 - 60
11(x/2+60) = 7x - 840
11x/2 + 660 = 7x - 840
840+660 = 7x - 11x/2
1500 = 1.5x
x =1000
The perimeter pf the rectangle is 1m.
