There are 4 stages in product life cycle:
introduction: when a product is first appear into the market
In this stage, you should have TV advertisements because it is a new product, no one knows it. You should advertise more so that people know that there is such product in the marketplace.
e,g, Fancl has a new product and Fancl will change the TV advertisement to inform the viewers of the product.
-Stage 2: development: the product has been in the market place for some time already. Meaning: some people know the product but not every one. So you may give out more samples for people to try to that people will even know more about the product. But may be not need to spend too much no TV advertisemnt as many people already know the product.
Stage 3: Peak: the product's sales already at the highest point--at this stage, maybe you should have some cross-over--to increase the buying of the product.
Stage 4: decline: There maybe other better products in the market place--so you should have price reduction or give out the product as gifts . Here, there is not much demands for this product!
