Areas and Volumes:

1) A water pipe of internal diameter 2.6 cm delivers water at a rate of 0.8 m/s. How much water comes out per second?

the Area of the water pipe's internal lumen

(2.6/2)(2.6/2) * 3.14

= 5.3066

As the rate of running water is 0.8 m/s = 80cm/s

so the amount of water comes out per second:
5.3066*80
= 424.528 cm3

u can imagine the the distance that water travels in one second as the length of the pipeso the calculation should be as simple as calculating a cube volume

你呢條問題係咪未完架﹖水入2.6cm pipe 係0.8m/s ,如果條pipe出口一樣,水come out 速度應該不變,都係0.8m/s.
