Tom spent 13/75 of his money on a comic and spent 21/31 of the remainder on a watch. He then has $120 left. How much money did he have at first?問咩?點計?

You can use equations to solve it.Let Tom has $ X ,
( 1 - 13/ 75) ( 1 - 21 / 31) X = 120
(62 / 75 )( 10 / 31 ) X = 120
620 / 2325 X = 120
X = 450
TOm has $ 450
