1.Let the cost of the cheaper cat be $x
3(x+3)+4x=100-7
7x=84
x=12
∴The cost of the two types of ceramic cat are $12 and $15

2.30w+20(w+1)=24(w+w+1)
50w+20=48w+24
w=2

1.
Let the 2 types be A and B,
100-(3A+4B)=7
3A-3=4B

by substitution, CAT type A: $11.25, CAT type B: $16

1.
let x be the number of the cheaper ceramic cat.
3x + (3x+3) = 100-7
6x + 3 = 93
x= 15
one type of the ceramic cat cost $15 and the other cost 15+1= $16
2.
30w + 20(w+1)= 24
50w = 24- 20
w= 4/50
w= 0.08 kg

1. Let x be the cost of one type of rat, x+3 be another type.

(x+3)*3 + x*4 + 7 = 100

solve it yourself.

2. (30*w + 20* (w+1) ) / (w+w+1) = 24
solve it yourself.
