Spinach and minced Beef thick soup
Ingredients:
1.Minced Beef 100g
2.spinach 180g
3.chicken stock (small can) 2cans
4.egg white 1piece
5.cornstarch 1 tbsp, combined with 11/2 tbsp of stock or water
Seasoning:
Marinade for beef:
1.salt and sugar, 1/2tsp each
2.light soya sauce 1tsp
3.cornstarch 1tsp
4.water 4tbsp
Cooking Method:
1.Marinade minced beef for about 15 minutes.
2.Wash spinach,cut or chop until very fine.
3.Bring stock to boil, then add in beef, using a chopstick to loosen meat lumps. when stock boils again, add in spinach and stir well.
4.add in seasonings, and let boil. Add in cornstarch solution and thicken soup. Bring to large boil, then turn off heat.
5.add in egg whites, and stir to form flakes.
Sweet and Sour Pork
Ingredients:
1.Pork shoulder meat 500g
2.red and green bell pepper 1 of each
3.canned pineapple 2slices
4.green onions 4-5 stalks(use only white part)
5.garlic 2 cloves,sliced
6.oil for frying
Seasoning:
Marinade for pork:
1.salt 3/4tsp
2.sugar 1/2tsp
3.chicken powder 1/2tsp
4.egg 1pc
5.cornstarch 3/4cup
Sweet and sour Sauce:
1.white vinegar 4tbsp
2.sugar 5tbsp
3.ketchup 2tbsp
4.tabasco 1tbsp
5.salt 1/2tsp
6.cornstarch 1 1/2tsp
7.water 2tbsp
8.cooked oil 1tbsp
Cooking Method:
1.Cut bell peppers into desired size.
2.Wash pork and cut into small pieces. Wipe dry and marinade. Dip in beaten egg and coat with a thin layer of cornstarch.
3.Heat oil in wok, and fry pork pieces in oil until golden brown in colour. Take out,and fry again in oil after 3 minutes until it floats. Take out and drain off excess oil.
4.Remain 1tbsp of oil and stir fry bell peppers. Add in sweet and sour sauce, stir well, then add in fried pork and fry until combined and serve.
spicy codfish with garlic
Ingredients:
1.2 slices of codfish (about 450g)
2.8-10 braids of garlic
3.1 tbsp bean paste
4.1 tbsp diced spring onion
Seasoning:
Marinade:
1.2/3 tsp salt
2.1/2 tbsp ginger juice
3.1/2 tbsp wine
4.a pinch of pepper
Seasoning:
1.3/4 cup water
2.1 1/2 tbsp light soya sauce
3.1/2 tbsp sugar
4.a dash of sesame oil
5.a few shakes of peper
Cooking Method:
1.Rinse codfish pieces and wipe them dry. Blend marinade Leave about 15 minutes. Chop garlic for later use.
2.Pat marinated codfish with plain flour, fry pieces in plenty of oil till golden and done. Remove and soak up excess fat.
3.Heat 2 tbsp oil to saute garlic and bean paste. Pour in seasonings and bring mixture to boil. Put in fried codfish, lower heat and stew ingredients for a while. When sauce becomes rich, dish up codfish pieces. Add diced spring onion to remaining sauce. Pour sauce over fish and serve hot.
