(1) (a) Value of investment after first month = $1,000,000*(1+5%) = $1,050,000
(b) Value of investment after 4 months = $1,000,000*(1+5%)*(1+5%)*(1+5%)*(1+5%)
= $1,215,506.25
(c) In fifth month, the man left = $1,215,506.25*(1-20%) = $972,405
Percentage loss = 1 - 972,405/1,000,000*100% = 2.7595%
(2) 2x+3x+4x=180
9x=180
x=20
Largest interior angle = 4*20 = 80

Ans:
(1)(a) $1000 000 x (100+5)%
=$1000 000 x 105%
=$1050000

(b) $1000 000 x (105%)(105%)(105%)(105%)
=$1215506.25

(c) $1215506.25 x (100-20)%
=$972405

$972405<$1000 000
so the man lose.
the percentage loss: $ (1000 000-972405)/1000 000 x100%
=2.7595%

(2) 2x +3x + 4x=180 (angle sum of triangle)
x=20
so the largest interior angle is 4x20 (4x)
=80 degree
