Your problem can be a hardware problem on
a) RAID controller
b) Harddisk controller
c) or just the MBR scratch only
There is no help on (b) except to bring back to the harddisk manufacturer (or repair agent/center).
There is an expensive way to check (a) that is to find (or buy) the same motherboard that is 100% working and then replug in the two harddisks to get it a try.
There is a cheaper solution to (c) which is a free software to inspect the MBR since you can boot up Windows to C drive. Install the MBR software to C drive and then run it to detect and repair D drive (partition).
Try to download theActive@ Partition Recovery for free.

Active@ Partition Recovery for Windows will help you if non-system partition is lost, i.e. you can boot Windows, install and run the software from under Windows Operating System to recover deleted or damaged partitions located on data volumes (D:, E: ...), attached HDDs, as well as on the external USB drives and Memory Cards (SunDisk, MemoryStick, CompactFlash, etc...). BOOT.INI is corrected automatically (if needed) to keep the system bootable, as well as damaged Volume Boot Sectors are corrected to mantain integrity of the partition. Software allows also to fix damaged MBR and to delete invalid partitions.
