元素豐度既問題

地球上的元素含量是否constant ?不能被創造的嗎?

以氧為例
光合作用把氧分子 release出黎
但係實質氧原子的數量在地球上都是不變的嗎?

We can created new elements or existing elements by the use of particle accelerator.

Particle accelerator are used to investicate the atomic structure, basic particles, creating other elements is a 'byproduct'.

The accelerator accelerate particles, like protons, alpha particle (helium neuclues) electron... to hit a target at a very very high speed, which is close to c (speed of light).

The great amount of KE help the particle to overcome the columbs force to hit the target, sometimes it will break the target into othe pieces of lighter elments/other basic particles. Sometimes used to increase the proton/neutrons number, to create heavy elements.

We can make new / old elements but need a lot of energy.

Chemical reation will NOT change an element into another. Your basic assumption is correct. But please remind that there are lots of particles get enough energy and leave the earth, and many particles drop to the earth from space. If that loss/gain in particles is not counted, your statement is correct.

是的,光合作用是把水光解做氧同氫,H2O是水,由2氫一氧合成,氧是不會消失的,就算氧以化合物既形式存在(水),氧係地球既數目都係不變的,除非有小行星之類的外來因素把元素帶來地球,否則地球上元素的質量都不會有所改變的
