I have a old 底板 model: Asus A7V600-X which only support SATA harddisk. However, since SATA is out date now so, can I use Sata II hardisk on my 底板 but the transfer rate is just lower 150mb/s not 300mb/s, is that correct ?? Because I can use it for my future upgrade so, I guess better buy SATA II if I can use it on this 底板.
Any brand for Sata hardisk can recommend and I am looking for abt 150Gb ?

硬碟機規格及種類：~ ATA-100, 傳輸速度可達100MB/s (IDE介面)
~ ATA-133, 傳輸速度可達133MB/s (IDE介面)
~ SATA, 傳輸速度可達150MB/s
~ SATAII, 傳輸速度可達300MB/s

你可以使用SATA II硬碟機，如下：
~ Seagate 320GB/7200RPM/16MB/SATA II/3.5" (約$650)
~ Seagate 250GB/7200RPM/16MB/SATA II/3.5" (約$550)
~Seagate 250GB/7200RPM/8MB/SATA II/3.5" (約$500)

Yes! You are right, you can connect SATA II HDD to your board with lowered transfer rate down to SATA I standard=150M/s. For my suggestion: Either Hitachi SATA II for longer lifetime.
