平行四邊形的面積等如三角形的面積. 三角形的高度是5cm, 假如兩個圖形的底部長度一樣, 找出平行四邊形的高度. 假設四邊形的高度是h cm, 而兩個圖形的底部是b cm.
平行四邊形的面積 = hxb
三角形的面積 = 5xb/2
由於 平行四邊形的面積等如三角形的面積, 所以
hb=5b/2
2h=5
h=2.5cm
