1.How many pairs of rabbits will there be after 6 months,if each pair produces a new pair each month,and each new pair begins to bear young two months after its own birth?



2.If 9 is subtracted from a numberx,the result is 27.Find the number.

3.Divide $790 between A,B and C so that A has $150 more that B,and B has $80 more than C.How much does C get.

1. Let Original pair of rabbits = A
After 6 months, there will be 21A pairs of rabbits

2. The no is 27+ 9 = 36

3.
A+B+C = 790
(C+150+80) + (C+80) + C = 790
3C + 310 = 790
3C = 790 - 310 = 480
C = 160
B = 160+80 = 240
A = 240+150 = 390
