Fall in love with a man who 13 years older than me

I think there is 2 issue - 1 is your past and the 2nd is age.
For me, I think its no problem even a guy is 13 years old than me. Of course, we need to take into consideration that man has shorter life than a woman, and if your man is much older than you, there may have a risk that your man will dead long before you.

But if you two are really in love, I think thats shouldn't be a problem. Also, as you are a mature woman and his is a mature man, I think that should not be a problem. For age issue, I think it is only an issue for young people esp when the girl is only 20 something and the guy is already 30 something. In this case, the girl is not mature enough for the man.

For your past, I think its better to let him know before he found it out by himself. I have this kind of expereince, I know a guy and we start dating. However, one day I discovered that he divorced before. In this modern day, I think divorced is really common. Even people has divorced and have kids is not a bad things. I think when it comes to a romance and relationship things, breakup is just one of the possible outcome. Even a person who divorced doesn't mean he/she is a bad person. That just means that their relationship could not keep on and hence they have choosen to seperate.

However, if lie to a person about their past, that could be very hurt and cost mistrust. So I think its better to let him know about the past before he found it out later.
