There are no other composers like Beethoven. Some of the more famous ones though are Bach, Mozart, and Chopin. If you want some more heavy-sounding music, try Brahms or Rachmaninoff.

There is no a composer like Beethoven. He is unique. There are composers who the contemporaries of him, such as : Joseph Haydn, Beethoven's teacher; Johann Nepomuk Hummel, a pupil of Mozart, pianist-virtuous, composer; Luigi Cherubini, italian composer, famous by his operas, church, chamber works; Franz Liszt, Antonin Reicha, Jan Ladislav Dussek, Carl Maria von Weber and others.
Brahms - he is awesome - the rock n roll of classicl music.
