我想用DVD-R來Backup HDD和其他電腦

我想問問：現時有甚麼開源或付費的軟件可以讓我們用 DVD-R 來 Backup HDD及LAN上其他電腦的？

已試過的軟件：
* Microsoft Backup (Win2K 及 WinXP)：不可以
* Nero Backup (不可以，上限99個backup set)

總共約300GB的Data。

但又有一個問題：若用 HDD Backup 的話，HDD很容易在碰撞後損壞。若整隻碟都瓜柴，咁backup得來都無乜意思？又或者，有沒有甚麼可以提供 off-site file management的 software可提供？

If the backup data volume is in a single set (say Exchange mail database), the only way to make offline backup is by TAPE (DLT, SDLT, LTO).
The most practical backup solution is to use TAPE backup in your case because you got more several computers to make backup. Not sure if your environment is a home network or a business network.
If your network is just a group of personal computers at home for non-business use, then TAPE backup is rather expensive. The best approach is to use DISK backup. A 300GB harddisk costs only $600.

PS/ normally DVD-R (SL ~= 4GB and DL ~= 9GB) is used to backup small volume of data and it is troublesome to manage tens of DVD-R disc (your case 75 discs) for data restoration.
