a)If they all ring at a certain moment,how many minutew will pass before they do so again?

b)If they all ring at 1:00pm,when will they ring together again in the ahternoon?

8.IF a certain(某) number is multiplied by 4 and is added to 10,the result is 34.Find the number.

9.If two-fifths(5分之2) of a certain number is decreased by(减去)9,the result is 11.Find the number.

7. 三個鈴分別每格6, 18及30分鐘響一次。

a) 如果三個鈴同時響起，它們下一次再同時響起要多少時間?
答: 假設三個鈴A,B,C在第0分鐘響, 那麼它們以後響的時後如下:
A: 6, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, 54, 60, 66, 72, 78, 84, 90
B: 18, 36, 54, 72, 90
C: 30, 60, 90
它們下一次響要等90分鐘。
其實，我們只要得到最小公倍數便知答案，先把6, 18, 30寫式質數相乘。
6 = 2 * 3
18 = 2 * 3 * 3
30 = 2 * 3 * 5
所以， LCM(6, 18, 30) = 2 * 3 * 3 * 5 = 90

b) 如果它們再下午一時響起，下一次它們會在什麼時間再響?
答: 從a)答案知道1:00pm後要等90分鐘會同時再響，即是2:30pm.

8. 如果一個數乘以4 再加10是34. 那數是什麼?
答: 設那數為未知數x, 方程式是 4x + 10 = 34, x = (34 - 10) / 4 = 24 / 4 = 6
那數是6.

9. 如果一個數的五分之二減去9是11, 那數是什麼?
答: 設那數為未知數x, 方程式是 2x / 5 - 9 = 11, x = (11 + 9) * 5 / 2 = 20 * 5 / 2 = 50
那數是50.
