請問 Stocks 同 Equities 有咩分別?

可以是同義，但要看文章的性質，及你在哪學科看到此字？

e.g........在principles of accounting的角度，stocks可以指生產出來作貿易的comsumption貨品，如皮鞋。而股票不是 consumption goods.

stock 亦可指股票(finance角度)。

equity 的定義較窄(在accounting及finance角度)。多指......股本，普通股.........e.g. equity financing→股本融資

但在OXFORD.......EQUITY亦有其他意義.......如...公平、公正.......衡平法

首先，給你一個remedy.......金融學的scope.....不是只有投資。
還有......理財(個人or企業)、分析、風險管理(FRM)、financial engineering、企業融資.......and so on。

second.......此兩字在金融學上都有部分意義相同，自己在annual report(hkex網上所見)中亦經常見此二字混合使用.......so，唔好執著字面上的意義.....好嗎？！

傳達意思........有時只是「約定俗成」......只要hkex approve(指上市公司監管部門)......及.....你我明白便行，學一門學問是考應用.......accounting考入帳原則......金融學考以上我所講的scope在生活上的實踐.......而不是考英文..........領悟字面上意思是低層次的學問

股票=Share capital:
Funds raised by issuing shares in return for cash or other considerations. The amount of share capital a company has can change over time because each time a business sells new shares to the public in exchange for cash, the amount of share capital will increase. Share capital can be composed of both common and preferred shares.

普通股....可稱為common shares、equity、ordinary shares.........and so on
ordinary shares(普通股)要與 preference shares(優先股)比較.....
