These are 2 different perspective, to put it together, it seems that you are confused.

To have high key objection to Japan, is to protect our country, this is politic, if you don't voice your objection or demonstrate to other countries your standing, the other might think that you surrender or you accept what was wrongly done by Japanese in the past was acceptable. This is totally wrong and I am very appreciate that our country leaders have very clear standing and fight it at the end.

About 4th June, this was a pain, if you imagine you were the leader, if at that time the demonstration would go wild, the whole country soventy will be jeopardized, and other countries will like a group of hungry wolves, invading China like in the Qing Dynasty, our leaders at that time, I have to admit that they took the strongest way to put off the demonstration in Tianneman Square, but at the end, China is stablized and no more riot. Imagine to manage 1.3 billion people, no one can do it better than China government, sometime it is hard to be a leader, to balance the high voice of demanding democracy, and to make sure the country is stable and no hungry countries can come to invade.

It is the most important thing, to keep the country as strong and as ONE!
