何謂死球?

根據球例第九章：The ball in and out of play
香港足球總會譯：球在比賽範圍內及範圍外-----(即中國足協譯成死球)
中國足球協會譯：比賽進行及死球----(即範圍外)
(英文版本)The ball is out of play when：
★ it has wholly crossed the goal line or touch line whether on the ground or in the air
★ Play has been stopped by the referee
(香港足總譯中文版本)-----在下列情況下，皮球是在比賽範圍外---(即死球)
★當整個球體在地面上或空中全部越過球門線或邊線時。如(界外球、球門球、角球等)。
★當裁判員暫停比賽時。如(換人、有球員受傷、吹停罰自由球等)。
有好多球迷以為只有開龍門球才叫死球，原來是包括以上情況都叫做死球。

