Let the students who take His be x, so the students who take Geo: ( 1 + 50% ) x
= 1.5x
The total number of students = 1.5 x + x = 2.5 x
So the % of students who take His :
(x / 2.5x )( 100% )
= 40%

2.5X = 1
X = 1/2.5
X = 0.4
