The base of a cuboid is 20cm long and 12cm width. If the total area of all lateral faces of the cuboid is epual to 2 times of the total area of its two baces, find it's height.

The total area of the two bases = 20 x 12 x 2 = 480 cm^2 Let the height of the cuboid be h cm.
So the total area of all lateral faces = 12 x h x 2 + 20 x h x 2 = 64 h
As given in the question,
64h = ( 480 )( 2 )
64 h = 960
h = 15
Hence the height is 15 cm.
