Has anyone here hit a twist serve/kick serve before?
If so, please explain as much as possible to me.
And I would also like to know is it true that the twist serve has an irregular bounce that will bounce towards the face.
Thank you very much.

Do you know topsin serve? It is similar, hitting spin cross the ball from left-bottom to right-top (right hander). Power from foot , leg , body then to arm. (Not enough power can't let the ball bounce).

But all of sport can't be spoken, why don't you find a coach?

Tennis serve

In 60s, a pro named Pancho Conzales (1939-2001) served a kick first serve which went toward the body of his opponent after bounce, forced his opponent using the other hand to push the ball away from his face. This service, by then, they called it American twist.

Today, with the help of the hi-tech equipment, most pros using similar kick serve for 2nd serve, for the pupose of safety, and most pros can handle the return better since they're already got used to it.

I myself 've seen Pancho played in Hkg, the said serve was really powerful but you have to be largely built like Pancho (6.4 ft), otherwise, it wouldn't effected as mentioned.
