(a)angle ADE = angle ABC (corr. angles, DE//BC)
angle AED = angle ACB (corr. angles, DE//BC)
angle DAE = angle BAC (common angle)
so triangle ADE ~ triangle ABC (AAA or equiangular)
(b)
AG/AF = DE/BC
AG/3.464 = 3/4
AG = 2.598
(c)
Volume of the chocolate
= 9 x 1/2 x 3.464 x 4 x 2 - 4 x 1/2 x 2.598 x 3 x 2
= 93.528
