形狀 一 問

1. 相同表面積下，圓柱的體積比方柱大，而球體體積最大；因為汽水罐、熱水瓶、玻璃杯等都係裝液體，圓柱對它們的貯存沒有影響，為節省物料，故製成圓柱。但球體容易滾動，所以即使比圓柱更節省物料，都不會製成球體。


2. 雖然圓柱較節省物料，但放置固體物件時卻容易有縫隙，反而不及方柱實用，所以不會
弄成圓柱。

1.為何汽水罐、熱水瓶、玻璃杯等都是圓柱？


因為汽 水 罐 、 熱 水 瓶 、玻 璃 杯都是飲品，
所以要讓人好拿一些，便要造成圓柱體。


2.為何用來擺放固體的容器，例如盒子
和衣櫃等都不是圓 柱？

因為(衣櫃)圓柱的體積比方柱的體積小，因此容
量會小了，市民當然撰方柱(衣櫃)啦!!

呀!你會不會覺得奇怪....菊花茶(合裝)為什麼是方柱而不是圓柱呢?外形好看?還是要新意呢?不如你也想想!^ ^

1) For can of soft drink and vaccumn flask, the cylinder help to increase the endurance of pressure. The best shape to overcome the prssure is in sphere, but based on daily transportation, sphere is not good. So a cylinder is a compromise between these two.

2) These products are design of normal daily use, convenience is the only consideration. Cube or in rectangular are better for storage and transport. If there is no other consideration, like safty, we use these shape.

You can see the fire extinguisher and the pressurized gases are in cylinder shape. (almost)
