Very few full-time teachers for art-subjects because art is not the main subject so the school want to cut costs by hiring part-time. So whether or not the HK governement will accept your Japanese degree is not important because you just need to see your employer (the school) accepts or not. Anyway, if you really want to teacher as full-time in the future, you need to get a certificate from Hong kong 教育学院取文憑才可教.
