I normally use this web site to help me to book hotel in China. This web site does not reuqire you to give credit card to gurantee the room, you can paid upon check in.
You can leave your HK mobile to them and they will call you back to confirmed the room and you can also request them to send you the confirmation of the hotel via fax or e-mail so you can bring the confirmation slip along upon check in.
