巴士站 & 的士站英文

因為呢兩個詞語【bus stop】 & 【taxi stand】已被早期英國統治本港果陣肯定左這些叫法，也由於總督軒尼斯在統治期間推行教育政策，使英文的文化發揚光大，並且遺留下來。這可說是一種風俗、傳統、習慣，而沒有特定的解釋。


另外，也有好多其他字都係由歷史事件演變出來，但有d字卻是由中文發音譯成英文，例如 sofa、bowling、cheese、strawberry 等等。
