what is the brand/model of your new router ? the below is an example to show you how to do it correctly (using D-LINK router as example). please read your router manual to find its address (eg. 192.168.0.1) to access it control panel.

First of all, make sure you connect them correctly <----> is LAN Cable

wall socket <----> MODEM <----> ROUTER [WAN] port
ROUTER [LAN port] <----> A
ROUTER [LAN port] <----> B

Use either computer A or B, at the browser type http://192.168.0.1
then follow the router menu and set up the PPPOE account login and password as well as the DHCP setting such as 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.100 for example.
Then it is all done and your computers should be able to connect to Internet.

配置DI-504





di-504提供了內置的基於web的管理實用程式，從而使作業系統獨立。可通過基於ms windows, macintosh 或unix 平臺的netscape communicator或ie 瀏覽器配置di-504。只需使用web瀏覽器如ie 或netscape navigator 4以上版本，並允許java script。



開始和登入



啟動web瀏覽器。



在netscape的location位置欄或ie 的address地址欄內輸入di-504的ip地址並按enter。di-504的默認ip地址是192.168.0.1。

建立連接後，彈出登錄窗口。要作為管理員登錄，請輸入用戶名“admin”和口令(沒有默認口令，請讓本欄保持空白)。點擊ok按鈕。如果口令正確，則出現web管理介面。









使用設置嚮導





出現設置嚮導(setup wizard)窗口。請



遵循嚮導的步驟快速配置di-504。

動態的ip地址:

如isp使用pppoe連接的服務名稱（service name），則請輸入服務名稱。

點擊重新激活保存設置並重啟設備。

di-504 將保存更改並重啟。



點擊繼續關閉設置嚮導窗口。



現在已經完成了di-504的設置，可以訪問互聯網了。
