First, summit your N400, it cost $675 starting Aug 1,2007
Then, wait for finger print. They will sent you a letter to go to your local office to finger print.
Then, get your document ready. Your birth certificate will be something that you will needed. I don't have mind when I go and lucky they did not ask, but they should. Also, all your passport that you have used before.
Then get your medical record, what kind of shots you have done when you are a kid, I don't have that also and guess what, they do it all over again at your cost.
It takes about 9 months now before you go to interview, wait for the letter, and go to interview, study your question, you could get the material from any bookstore in China town, they will test your English skill by asking you questions, tell you to read a sentence to them and then you have to wirte a sentence for them. After that, they will ask you a ton of questions about like will you bear arm for the US, and have you been convicted for a crime.....
If you pass, then wait to get your certificate of citizen, they will sent you a letter to go to a court house, after all the necessary paper work, you will get you citizenship.
One thing to remember is you will need some photos, and be sure what they ask you to put in the back, I think it is your name and your A#. And make sure the picture is at their format.
