Animal Rights, Liberation.?

I'm very pro for the rights of animals, as I believe we are the stewards of the planet.
Pets should be a tame animal and not a wild creature caught nor exploited for looks. I.E. a puma on the leash, an ocelot as an ornament, circuses should ban instinctively wild animals, like elephants, bears, big cats, and the like.
Zoo's? Well that is a tough one. We are learning a hell of a lot about animals from them and we are taking care of them more and more to their betterment. Zoos also help and assist in preserving our creatures we are responsible for.
Pets, like dogs, cats, and birds, as well as farm animals should be protected far more than what they are now.
I actually believe we should enforce laws that every human being should have a license to own a pet. (AND I JUST THOUGHT OF THAT NOW!! WHAT A GREAT IDEA!). I believe this because if they are licensed they would have to take lessons on proper treatment, and taught what the responsibilities are for them towards the innocent animal.
Also it could help because we could force them to tag the animal to their name, and address, so that should we find the animal abuse beyond cruelty we have the culprit responsable for it. I like that idea.
It is wrong to damage anyones property for liberation no matter what, whether humans are hurt or not. I don't like that idea. Sorry but you cannot get good results illigally nor immorally. What belongs to someone else belongs to them whether you like it or not. No one can gain right by doing wrong.

I don't support the inhumane treatment of animals but I also think that putting them on the same level as humans is absurd. They are in a sense commodities, I don't have an issue with animal slaughter. However, basic human decency makes me recoil at unnecessary suffering before death.
