I 係要用 was 的，
仲有上面ge 人兄都講過如果要話
"如果我係你ge話......" 就要寫成 "if I (were) you......."

*現在式的話就要用is
1.He is a basketball player.
2.She is a cook.
3.It is an banana

*過去式的話就要用 was
1. He was a basketball player.
2.She was a cook
3. It was something strange.

*現在式的話就要用are(你) 同埋 am(我)
1. I am a teacher.
2. You are a driver.

*過去式的話就要用were(你) 同埋 was(我)
1. I was a teacher.
2. You were a driver.

*現在式的話就要用has
1. He has two kids.
2. She has a brother.
3. It has wings.

*現在式的話就要用have
1. You have a dot on your face.

例子: 你/我/他/她/它有 you/ I /he/she/it had
*過去式的話就要用had
1. You had a dot on your face before.
2. I had a cat few years before.
3. He had 2 kids.
4. She had a brother.
5. It had leaves yesterday.

基本，英文是以時態表示

如 Future, Present simple, Past simple.

之後，引申為 ( 不分先後 )

Future 和 is/are + ing

Present simple 、Present continuous 、 Present Perfect 和 Present Perfect Continuous

Past simple、 Past continuous、 Past perfect 和 Past perfect continous

1) 這樣 He / She / It + is (present) / was (past) / will be (future)

或 He / She / it + has (present) / had (past) / will be (future)

2) I / You / They / We + are / were / will be

或 I / You / They / We + have / had / will be

3) 而 I + was / were 都是正確， ( I was .... ) 係現代英文常使用，相反 ( I were ..... ) 係以前常做用，好像幾百年前用 ( I was ) 是錯誤，不過語言會改變和變更。

如果唔想煩的話，( I were ) 是永遠正確於 英式英文。

4) 有時，可能見到 ( Subject + have / has + been + ing + ... )

或 ( Subject + have / has + past participle + .... )

這些只是 present perfect continuous 和 present perfect 既英文時態。

5) 解釋 He , She , It ( 他、她 和 它 )，事和死物都以 (它) 表示，而 You ( 你 ) 和 I ( 我)。

它們都是 Subject 於英文。

如你的例子﹕
He is a man. 他是一個男人。 ( 不過人人都知He是男性，這句意味 他之前唔係男人 或其他 )

He has a wife. 他有一個老婆。

He was a doctor. 他以前係一個醫生 ( 因為 was 係 past simple )

以上全部都正確。

最後，練習是成功既開始。試多D就得 :)
