動畫與劇場版
電視動畫版於2002年4月開始在朝日電視台播放至今，每週六播出一集，目前已經播出231集（至2007年6月30日）；台灣的台視、東森綜合台與中視、香港的無綫電視兒童台與翡翠台（2006年12月～2007年3月底在《放學ICU》中播放），以及馬來西亞的兩個電視台（分別播放馬來文版與台灣配音版）也先後播放過電視動畫版。另外並由東映製作劇場版《映画 あたしンち》，於2003年12月在日本上映（不過由於票房不如預期，因此至今未有再次製作劇場版的計劃），台灣則於2007年2月9日上映。

花家，居住在東京近郊城鎮，個性看似互異卻又有著些許共通點的一家四口，就像是眾多小家庭的縮影。不管是家庭當中的生活百態，與同學、友人…等周圍人們的日常互動，或是個人的心情起伏以及對事物的各種感受…一個又一個貼近日常生活，平凡中趣味橫生的大、小故事持續上演著…。
