My AL result cannot enter UK Uni of East Anglia.
My agent advised taking the diploma course of by INTO sch that it work with UEA. After 1 yrs study when pass, I could go to year 2.
However the agent cannot provide the successful rate of the course that could go to yr 2 because it is only the first year running of this course.
I worry it would like our asso degree that only a handful of people could go to U.
Any comment ?

I have a fd who studied diploma at UEA last year, and he is going to study accounting at UEA...it is not 100% safe for you to study a diploma course and choose wht you want later on...!! I suggest if you really wanna study business for your degree, you may choose diploma..and go on study degree abt business!! If you dun want to..you should study foundation course or retake your GCE A Level..!! And the INTO course is including IELTS course...and i think my fd is ok as he studied all the stuff before in hk..so it is easier for him to handle..I am not sure abt how many points / grade tht u need to take in the INTO course...but....the thing i wanna remind you is UEA may force you to pay more in the INTO course to live in Victory Hse ( which is the most expensive hall )..but the environment is great..you have got your own shower and Washrm..and As far as I know..all the ppl who are studying diploma/ foundation course at UEA..they all live together..( i mean in Victory Hse)...

Do you really have to study at UEA? Rather than diploma course, I suggest to spend an extra year at foundation course then apply for University at Year 1. Although it will take an extra year, but it will give you good foundation and get used to life in UK. This also give you extra choices when you choose the university next year.
In order to go straight to Year 2, you may have to be top of the class and you may struggle when you join at Year 2 because of the new environment, pace at University.
