這是標準英語的讀法，凡是 s 後的 /t/ /p/ /k/ 音 ，習慣上都是把他們讀成好似 /d/ /b/ /g/ 音一樣（對於中國人來說），請參考以下例子：

詳細解釋
英文音標中的 /d/ /b/ /g/ 及 /t/ /p/ /k/ 等音的主要分別是在乎有沒有振動聲帶，/d/ /b/ /g/ 是需要振動聲帶的(voiced)，亦即是濁音，而 /t/ /p/ /k/ 不需要(voiceless)，即是清音。而一般情況下 /t/ /p/ /k/ 等音是會送氣（即是呼氣）（aspirated)，但是在 s 音後，他們習慣上是不送氣，可能是因為不送氣會讀得流暢一點，但是就算不送氣他們還是 /t/ /p/ /k/ 音，因為只要不振動聲帶，他們便是 /t/ /p/ /k/。而且，基本上 s 後面是不會跟 d b 或 g 的，所以不會產生誤會。嚴格來說，正式IPA音標，應該把 /t/ 為成 /tʰ/ （其中ʰ 代表送氣），例如 tea 的音標應該是 /tʰ iː/，而當 t 跟在 s 後時，它的音標會是 /t/（沒有送氣），例如 stop 的音標是 /stɔp/，但是，由於送不送氣不是決定性因素，一般都省略/ʰ/。

其實，這情況不單單是 s 之後的 t p k 音，有些時候，當有 t p k 音的音節是弱音節，人們（尤其是美音）會把他們讀成不送氣，例如 water, potato，中國人聽起上來便覺得他們在說　wader 及 potado了。

這情況跟普通話及廣東話是有很大的分別，例如「太」及「帶」，這兩個字的子音都不會振動聲帶 (voiceless) ，我們以是否送氣來分辨他們，所以，在正式的IPA音標中，「太」的子音是 /tʰ/ ，而「帶」的子音是 /t/。對於外國人來說，這兩個字的子音都是 /t/音，這說明了為甚麼一般香港英文拼音是沒有 d b 及 g，例如「黃大仙」的英文拼音是「Wong Tai Sin」而不是「Wong Dai Sin」，「石硤尾」是「Shek Kip Mei」不是「Shek Gip Mei」，「寶琳」是「Po Lam」而不是「Bo Lam」。

你先生無錯, strawberry 這字是讀做 S-draw-beri. 中文的..士多啤梨..的多字亦不對, 因 draw 是疊音的.

In HK....we are studying the English accent.....therefore we pronnounce "STRAWBERRY" like this:

s-多-berry....

Therefore.....both are correct.....but it really depends which accent you are learning...and if people say "s-draw-berry"...then you will know that he/she is an American.....and so...non of you or your teacher is wrong.....
