Conversion of energy 教案

Connect a light bulb to a motor , and then tie a tiny mass with a string at the rotor (捲).

Then let the tiny mass to fall and rotor rotate, then there will be a tiny light come out from the bulb. PE to Electric. You can ask the student to rotate the rotor fast to light up the bulb. Chemical Energy to Electric energy.

Boil water to make the steam to move a wheel. Heat to KE. If the wheel is connect to a motor / generator, Heat to Electric energy.

A simple pendulum show KE to PE to KE ..... but hard to observe, you can change it to a ball rolling on rail like roller coaster. You can see the ball change in velocity and height.
