grammar題一問

grammar 問題, 好玩呀~
1. The Beatles, _____many of you are old enough to remember, came from Liverpool.
A. what B. that C. how D. as
(答案點解會係 D ge? )
首先唔係what 同 how啦, 因為what同how係問句先用既, 咁但係點解係as而唔係that呢, 第一, that係唔會用黎講人既, 人應該用who,所以that唔o岩, 但係如果有得選who,都唔應該係who, 因為who應該用黎連接一句形容beatles既dependent clause, 例如 came from liverpool (例如你可以話: The Beatles, who came from Liverpool, is .....), 但係 many of you are old enough to remember 其實唔係真係用黎修飾 Beatles 既, 用 who都唔o岩, as 係最合用喇
2. Isnt it time you got down to_____the papers?
A. mark B. be marked C. being marked D. marking
(答案點解係 D ge? 前面有to, 答案唔係應該係 A 嗎?)
簡易, 因為 get down to 係一個phrase黎, 解專心於一樣野, 之後要跟noun架
例: I want to get down to business.
咁如果之後係一個verb就要轉做gerund,即係加-ing喇
3. My grandma still treats me like a child. She can't imagine ________grown up.
A. my B. mine C. myself D. me
(答案點解係 D ge? )
這是人稱代名詞的問題...
以我為例:
主詞(subject) I
受詞(object) me
possessive (我的....) my
possessive pronoun (我的) mine
reflective pronoun (反身代名詞) myself
she can't imagine .....grown up
意思係: 他不能想像我長大了
咁不能想像既野係我嘛....我係一個object, 用me就o岩喇
如果用my,mine同myself意思都唔通啦...
