computer software及computer hardware當fixed assets﹐其他之後買的如mouse﹐key board﹐wires: USB線等當expenses﹐即電腦損耗品(computer consumable)﹐這是正統的入數法。

但如果computer software及computer hardware的支出﹐不超$2000﹐一般較大的公司都不入fixed assets﹐因為小數怕長計﹐免計depreciation﹐而且稅務方面﹐有關computer equipment的fixed assets項目﹐全數都計入該年depreciation及扣稅﹐auditor都接受的。
