雇主與雇員關係是:

Relationship between employer and employee.

如譯做:

Relationship between host & guests, 意即如飲宴場合的那種賓主關係.

注: 並不適宜混合用.

I can see that there are mainly two types of answerws:

(i) Guest-host relationship
(ii) Employee-employer relationship

Both interpretations can be acceptible, but it depends on the occasion you are using it. The latter would definetly be a much more common case, especially used in day to day office conversations.
