it is indeed one of the best and prestigious schools in the uk.
if u wanna enter into sixth form, u will have to take entrance exams in the subjects u wish to study at AS level. after that u will most probably get a conditional offer requiring u to obtain 6Bs or above in GCSE or equivalent (e.g. HKCEE), which i think is reasonable.
the campus is very nice- if u want pics i can send some to u. all boarding houses (10 in total) are off campus and the sizes of rooms in each vary. in junior houses, u get to live in shared dorms, which are not at all bad. senior houses are much better but it still depends on which house ur in. if ur in mine, which is the nicest of all four senior houses, ur room is bound to be comparatively larger than those in other houses. but still, all houses are okay.
students here are friendly and if ur from HK, i can assure u u will get loads of HK friends in no time. most HK students here are either from international schools or have studied here for quite some time- basically everyone has a high level of english. some solely speak english but others do speak canto. usually, they switch between the two languages.
with a school fee of nearly £10000 per term (yes, no kidding, HKD$150000 for 3 months), u can expect everyone here to be of considerable wealth. no one is particularly snobbish tho, and most people are easy to get along with.
