Help me out with weight Loss?

I'm a 21 yr old male, i'm about 100 lbs over weight i would like to start slimming down. for years I've tried running it work but soon the weight just flat line at one amount. I watch what i eat, drink and with my job and friends rarely am I just home sitting around the house. Does anyone have something serious that could help me. Thanks

to be honest the best way is not to go on a diet as ive tried them all and diet pills and they dont work lol but just change your diet and go swimming 4-5 times a week for about an hour each time it tones your tummy and all your body up wonderful too ! i lost 2 1/2 stone since may its great and i eat loads too im just eating the right foods but instead of swimming try aqua arobics its great and really fun ! great question goodluck !

If you're not already doing so, find out approximately how many calories you're taking in daily. Make sure you are burning more calories than you are eating.

3,500 calories equals around 1 pound of body fat (http://www.foodanddiet.com/NewFiles/calorie-defined.html) So just do the math -- for ie., if you burn 500 more calories than you eat a day - that equals to 1 pound of weight loss a week (7 days X 500 = 3,500 calories).

Trust me. You can't just lose weight by doing exercies. There have been proofs on this already.

Also, one really has to look into his fat proportion in his body before one is said to healthy. Losing some weight doesn't mean losing some "fat".

I am on the south beach diet. and so is my friend and mom. My friend is looking and feeling alive again after 3 months and my mom after 6 months has her life back and is smaller than me and doesnt even have to take her pills for high cholesterol anymore. I have lost 15 pounds after 1 month and am that much closer to my goal to be where I want to be by the end of this year.
Its more like a lifestyle and not so much a diet.
There are south beach diet foods that can help you along the way if you choose, but its just as easy to buy normal food if you choose to.
It is not a scam, and is healthy and easy.
I am always full and never hungry.
plus there are tons of desserts that you can put together or buy already made.
I really love this diet because you can apply it anywhere you go. Eating out is easy.
There are two books you need to understand how to eat the right way and what all the common mistakes are that you are making. One is the regular south beach diet book, and the second is a thinner book that is full of food that is graded on each phase of the diet(3 phases. its easy i promise).
There are also NO counting points, calories, or any tedius/annoying diet like things that drive most dieters up the wall.
I am so glad you are trying to change your life, by getting healthy. I really hope you take this to heart because I care and understand that it is a serious matter. Good luck, you can do it if you stick to this so called diet, although I often forget I am on a diet.
