Well.. I want to lose weight.. and there are more details inside... :)?

I start school in a month, and I've been wanting to lose some weight. I think I've decided on a reasonable goal.. I want to lose 10 pounds, and that's about 2 pounds a week.

I also want a slimmer waist and get a flatter stomach (abs maybe) I've been doing some exercises lately, like the stairs and crunches. I'm doing tae kwon do (it's like karate) 3-5 days a week too.

I've been "dieting" a little.. having 5 small meals instead of 3 big ones, but in my "meals", I usually end up eating junk food.
During school the last 2 years, I usually skipped breakfast, had a little lunch (if any), and either had 1 fast food meal and/or another meal. But when I eat, I usually have a lot of junk food.. I know that it's bad to have junk food, but if I cut back on that, will I be able to lose weight quicker?

I'm also wondering.. if I eat a lot one meal, is it good to work out after I eat? Or what should I do when I eat more than I usually do in one meal? Thanks. :)

By the way, I'm 15.

dont exercise after you have eaten because your organism cant digest the food and lose energy the same time, it will be very exhausting for it!! wait about 2-3 hours. if you eat more(it happens to me all the time!) you can exercise more or eat less dinner or less breakfast!! u r on the right way gf!

to be honest the best way is not to go on a diet as ive tried them all and diet pills and they dont work lol but just change your diet and go swimming 4-5 times a week for about an hour each time it tones your tummy and all your body up wonderful too ! i lost 2 1/2 stone since may its great and i eat loads too im just eating the right foods but instead of swimming try aqua arobics its great and really fun ! great question goodluck !

i think your doing a good amount of excersise compared to most people trying to lose some weight, and 2 pounds a week is a good goal so weldone on that too. just cut out the junk food and you'll be fine, otherwise all that time spend excersising is more or less wasted! try to cut down your portions aswell, or, like you said, eat more smaller meals than just one big one. gooood luck but remember dont obsess about your eating, your a bit too young to get really worked up about it

oh god, dont get yourself worked up. your only 15. follow a weight watcher diet. its simple
