到英國讀碩士一問 (tourism / business studies) / Oxford一年MBA

我剛在理工school of hotel and tourism management 畢業, 2nd up honours, 想到英國繼續讀 masters, 請問有什麼出名的學校?

Re: Master degree, it would be better if you take your master degree in London, in especially if you are planning to work in UK as it would be much easier to take time off and attend job interview.

I found that most of the company doesn't really pay much attention to your degree as long as you have a reasonable grade from good university. I heard some graduate had a history degree and was offered a job in Investment Bank. Therefore, you should choose a degree where you will be confident at rather than the title.

Not sure about Oxford MBA. But most MBA school require 3 years + working experience. You may be better off studying a MBA later.

Good luck.

As long as I know, top universities such as Oxford will not accept fresh grad students. MBA normally require two years working experiences, at least. As a hotel and tourism mangement student like you, do you think MBA will suit you? MBA is a business degree for non business degree holder to build up their business knowledge in a year. For you, I think MBA will not be good enought for you as you are holding a sort of business degree. MBA may make no difference for you. MBA for you is nothing cause it is only a basice business management foundation course. However, it is good for whom are non business degree holder such as music, history, education, arts, design and etc... Like my sister, she holds an engineer degree. She worked for around four years before she's got enough money to attend the MBA course in London University. Now she's got a very good job at KCR management level. Without the MBA degree, I think she will not be able to get that job.

In order to get in a better university to do the master degree, I think you better work for at two years and take the IELTS with score 6.5. It will make your study path way a bit easier. How about that?
