I suggest you to use "Berlitz Spanish in 30 Days" and "Berlitz French in 30 Days" since the grammar structures are clearly listed in the book and there is a CD with 30 lessons. Each of them costs about $160-170. I used it when I was learning Spanish, also, if you want to buy a Spanish dictionary, buy "Random House Spanish - English". It costs abou $150 .They are really good.
