紅色／金色／白色：都是於一些大禮儀中會用到的﹗一些教會年曆定為慶日的日子，如天主之母、聖體聖血節等的慶日，聖誕節、復活節、農曆新年等等的日子…

綠色：常年期會用到的

紫色：四旬期、將臨期、追思已亡節及一些追思彌撒會用到
