You only use these Studies at the beginner/intermediate levels, and even then, you don't really need too much of it. You don't have to devote too much time on each of these volumes, just pick some and practice them.
And once you reached a more advanced level (probably Diploma or after) you don't really need these anymore. I am rather against using Czerny, Cramer, Hanon, etc., because these Studies present little or no musical value. I would rather you practice all three sets of Chopin Etudes (Opp. 10, 25, and 3 early ones), Liszt Etudes, or all the way down to the Kapustin Etudes, than playing Czerny. Too much Czerny, Cramer, Hanon, etc. will make you a robotic musician - you will play everything as if you are playing Exercise pieces. So, play some, but not too much.
