Baby boomer - anyone born between 1946 - 1964 in a country that experienced an unusual spike in birth rates following WWII. They have been through periods of war, thus receiving less opportunities in educational institutions. They tend to demand more stability in their workplace, loyalty between them and their employees are much more obvious.

Generation X - anyone born between 1965 - 1980 is the generation more so after the Baby boomers. They have lived under the periods of the Cold War, these people have much less loyalty for their employers, as they start to experience offshoring and outsourcing. They are also alot less resistant toward plurality in religion.

Generation Y - anyone born immediately after Generation X. The range is of great dispute, but mainly up to the 2 Millenium. The generation of advanced computing technologies, allowed these generations to adapt to great changes much easily. Not experiencing effects of war, they also tend to seek a higher standard of life.

i - Generation - would refer to the generation immediate after Generation Y. This term is not widely used, nor is it yet common terminolgy. The range would be from 2000 uptil now. The i depicts information technology, as e-commerce prospers and everything is related to IT. People of this generation are still young, thus job charactistics cannot be assessed at the moment.
