其實唔可以話幾時用by,幾時用with, 睇睇先:
講beset先:
beset如果係解困擾, 就可以用by/with
beset by doubts 係o岩, 你話beset by difficulties都得架
如果解 鑲/嵌, 就要用with
a gold bracelet beset with diamonds.
不過我想講, 大部份verb既passive voice, 你用by都係o岩既,用其他既preposition,其實係另一種叫participial adjective既用法, 即係將個verb + preposition變成一個adjective.
睇睇:
active voice: the footprint interests the detective.
passive voice: the detective is interested by the footprint.
participial adjective: the detective is interested in the footprint
係好似冇乜分別咁...不過如果唔想用錯preposition就要多用多練習
