The differences between NEGLECT & IGNORE~

NEGLECT 忽視,忽略

to pay little or no attention to
to fail to care for or attend to properly
to fail to do or carry out, as through carelessness
(with CARELESSNESS)

IGNORE 不顧,不理會
to refuse to pay attention to
(with INTENTION)

NEGLECT is something you have forgotten or overlooked because of carelessness, whereas INGORE is something you left out deliberately.
